Sydney Fraind

As a dedicated 10th-grade student, I understand firsthand what it takes to excel in today's academic landscape. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA this year while taking a rigorous schedule of all Honors and AP courses. Maintaining top grades in these classes requires subject comprehension, strong study habits and time-management skills. Skills that I want to share with other students. I am currently enrolled in the same curriculum and I have mastered the same teaching-methods as students are going through now, I can help break down complex concepts with students on a peer-to-peer level. My goal is not just to help students improve their test score but to help build study habits and help students understand each teacher's specific teaching method.

Adriana Castro-Curiel

Hi, I'm Adriana Castro-Curiel, a sophomore at Palmer Trinity School with a passion for learning and helping others succeed academically. As a student in honors and advanced courses, I understand both the challenges and rewards of a rigorous academic environment. Having studied the same curriculum, I’m able to explain concepts in a clear and relatable way. I focus on strengthening study habits and breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps. My goal is to support long-term academic independence, and I especially enjoy History and English.

Emilia Castro-Curiel

Hi! My name is Emilia and I’m a 10th grader at Palmer Trinity School who tutors multiple subjects with one goal in mind: not just to help you get a good grade, but to make sure you actually understand the material. I’m multilingual in English and Spanish with some French basics, and this past year I competed in Math Competitions, performed in my school’s Winter Concert, earned a MUN Resolution Main Submitter Award, and served as a Student Ambassador. I’m a member of SWE and Tri-M Music Honor Society, run my own club, and build websites. I pride myself on being organized, patient, and genuinely easy to talk to, because the best learning happens when you feel comfortable enough to ask questions. And a fun fact about me is that I do taekwondo!

Brooke Shaner

Hi, I’m Brooke Shaner, a 10th-grade student at Palmer Trinity School. As an Honors student, I understand the dedication, organization, and strong study habits needed to succeed in a challenging academic environment. Having recently learned many of the same concepts that younger students are studying, I am able to explain material in a clear and relatable way. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities, strengthen their study skills, and develop strategies that will help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.

Brilyn Kimen

Hi, I'm Brilyn Kimen, a student at Palmer Trinity School currently taking Honors courses. Through my classes, I have developed strong study habits, time-management skills, and a solid understanding of what it takes to succeed academically. As a student who has worked through the same curriculum, I can explain concepts in a clear and relatable way. I enjoy helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding of class material, and develop the skills they need to become independent learners. My goal is to make learning less stressful and help students reach their full academic potential.

Hayley Thompson

I'm a 10th-grade student enrolled in all honors classes and one AP course. I enjoy helping others learn and am dedicated to making difficult subjects easier to understand. As someone who has been through countless challenging classes, I work patiently with students and focus on building both skills and confidence. I believe every student can succeed with the right support and approach, and I strive to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them develop stronger study habits and a greater confidence in their abilities.
